Grandma Smith's 91st birthday

We celebrated Grandma Smith's 91st birthday today. She loves chocolate so everybody gave her lots of chocolate. She kept laughing and saying that she was never going to get to sleep tonight! What an amazing lady!

The kids got the chickens out and held them for a little bit. If you remember, Aunt Margaret bought baby chicks for Celia for Easter (she also gave Camden one but we let her keep it at their house).

Camden is holding Chandler and Colby is holding Emma.

Then they threw the ball around for a little while. We had a great time!!!

Father's Day

We enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with the most important men in our lives! Since we kept Camden up so late the night before, he slept until about 9:00 and then I had to wake him up for Church. I fixed Russell a quick breakfast in bed and we gave him his gifts. He's such a great Daddy!!!

After church, we took Big Russell (Russell's dad) to Applebee's. That was fun and I was able to take a few pictures after we ate.

Camden refused to look in this picture. I think he was missing Hunter!!

Later that afternoon, we went to Mike & Abby's for a Father's Day cookout. She had the kiddie pool all ready for them. They had a blast playing in that pool!!!
Cousins Carter & Reese

Enjoying an Ice Cream Cake!!
OK, so the pool had a hole in it somewhere and by the time the kids splashed around, there wasn't much water left. They still had a blast!!

Camden had fun playing with the bubble machine. He was so wet from the pool they were sticking to his belly!

I think this might be one of my all time favorite pictures. If you look closely, there is a bubble stuck to his nose!

Water gun fight!

We had a great time on Saturday evening with our friends Brian & Katherine and Darrell & Candace and their kids. We are so glad that Brian & Katherine are back in the area and hopefully here to stay for a while!!!

They both have boys around Camden's age so we got them together for a little fun. They loved playing together and it was so funny to watch them run around playing. They especially loved the water gun fight. They took off their shirts and ran around shooting everything and everybody.

Here are the wet rats: Jackson, Braden and Camden.

Weekend update

Camden got a new toy on Saturday. It's a baseball bat and ball thing. Basically, you put the ball on the holder, push it down and then it pops the ball up and you hit it. Camden had a great time with it on Sunday morning. Russell kept telling him to watch the ball and hit it!! Camden has a great swing (says Russell). He hit a few balls before church and I'm sure we'll be playing with it a lot this summer!!

I was able to get a few pictures before Church. He's sitting with his other new toy that he loves!!

This is a picture of his favorite blanket. He's had this blanket since he was born (thanks, Abby!) and he takes it everywhere. I washed it last week and used a little too much bleach in the water so it faded part of the stripes. When he saw it, he said "I'm a little upset about this". It was so funny! Of course, he still loves his blanket, faded stripes and all. He says it's his favorite toy.

Mowing the grass with Papa

Camden and I stopped by Mom & Dad's tonight for a visit. Dad was mowing and Camden wanted to ride a little bit.

I have no idea what Camden is holding but he was proud of it!

All done!

Camden's party at school

Camden's school had a Graduation party a couple weeks ago for all of the kids that will be going to Kindergarten next year. Camden has one more year of pre-school and then he'll go to Kindergarten (cause his birthday is in January). Here are couple cute pictures from the party.

Yummy Cupcake!!

Busy couple weeks!!

Well, it has been the busiest couple weeks ever!!! Work has been absolutely crazy so the last thing I've wanted to do at night is get on the computer. Hopefully it will start to slow down after this week.

Russell and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Monday. We decided not to do big gifts but Russell surprised me with flowers delivered to me at work. He's the best husband ever!! He sent me 7 roses mixed in with some other flowers, one rose for each year (which I thought was pretty clever). We celebrated our anniversary last weekend by going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast with Camden. It was so good that I can't wait to go back.

In Camden news, he's excited about going to the pool today. The pool we go to is 3 ft at the shallow end so he can walk around without swimmies. I can't wait to go there and relax and hopefully get some sun.

We had a cookout for Memorial Day a couple weeks ago. I have the funniest pictures from that cookout that I'll post later, I promise! We had a great time catching up with friends!!!

Check back soon for pictures!!!!
