More beach fun

I'm in denial that our beach vacation is over. It was just so much fun and the weather was perfect! I don't think we got "hot" once--just perfect temperatures. Camden loved it and kept saying he liked our vacation. He loved spending time with everyone and says he misses Carter and Riley this morning.

A funny story that I want to remember: Camden was finding seashells on the beach and held one up to his ear and said "I can hear the ocean". So funny--the ocean was right behind him. We were really lucky in finding sand dollars this year. That became something we did every day .

We made priceless memories. Carter Smith & the shocking toys, Build A Bear, Sand Dollars, Sand Man, Carter's birthday, riding bikes, sausage & eggs, Margaritaville, Count Dracula, Bonefish Grill, Mom's camera & my eye (ok, those last 2 aren't good memories but are things we won't forget).

Here are a few more pictures from our trip.

Beach fun!

Our beach vacation is flying by and we are having a blast! The weather is perfect and the water is so warm. The best part is that we have a long stretch of beach all to ourselves--no crowds!! Camden is loving the ocean and the sand...he could stay there for hours!

Here is a cute story about my sweet boy: we were eating at Bonefish Grill and Camden told me he was going to marry me. I asked him why and he said cause he loved me and I was pretty & beautiful. So sweet!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures so far:

Camden's first boat ride

Grandma and Papa took Camden on his first boat ride yesterday. He had so much fun and loved it when Papa drove fast and hit the "bumps". I think Papa is going to have a future fishing buddy in a few years!!
They had a picnic lunch before the boat ride. Carter and Papa were already out fishing so Grandma, Riley & Camden met them for lunch.
This is the only life jacket that Grandma could find to fit Camden. Well, the only other 1 was pink! He's wearing Grandma's hat.

Loving the fast ride on the boat. Carter was so sweet to hold on to Camden!!

Carter's big fish!!

Camden loved his boat ride and wants to go again soon (and I want to go too)!!!

Labor Day cookout

We had a little cookout yesterday with some of our great friends. The kids all had a blast and it was fun to watch them playing together. Here are a few pictures.

My little boy is growing up!

Camden and I are going to Target today. He's excited because we're going to look for Spiderman 3 (he is on a spidey kick lately). He said he was going to get ready. I heard him brushing his teeth and using his mouthwash. I then heard the shower start in his bathroom. I ran to get my camera and snapped this picture.

He got out, dried off and put lotion on all by himself. I was deliberately leaving him alone just to see what he could do on his own. I snapped another couple pictures of him being so independent!

When did he grow up on us? My sweet little man!!!

PS--look how neat the bathroom is!! He didn't make 1 single mess and there wasn't any water on the floor. So proud!!
