We've had a sick household the past few days. Camden started off with a temperature, cold and runny nose on Wednesday. That only worsened so I decided to take him to the doctor on Thursday. By the time of his appointment, I had a temperature, croupy cough, headache, aches, chills, sweats, etc so I decided to go as well. Turns out Camden had a virus and he was to continue on his motrin for a few days. I tested negative for the flu (which is only 50% accurate!!) and was sent home with no medicine at all. A couple hours later, I was feeling 10x worse and was the sickest I have ever felt in my life. I called another doctor and they said that since I had all the symptoms of the flu that they would call me in some Tamiflu. Once my sweet mother-in-law dropped that off at my door, I started feeling a little better but not much. About an hour after I took the first pill, I started vomiting (which can be a symptom of the swine flu along with everything else I had).
Camden was feeling pretty good all this time except for his cough and runny nose. I was in tears I was so sick!!! Didn't sleep or eat for pretty much 2 days. My headache finally went away (that was the worst part) yesterday but I had no energy to even walk around. Today I'm feeling mostly better except for the no energy part and a general sick feeling.
I sure hope that's the last time the flu (whichever kind I had) enters this house!! I'm praying that no one else gets this!! Russell and Camden took such good care of me though! My boys are the best!!!!!

Lost in the corn maze...
We went to Layman's Farm on Sunday to tackle the corn maze. It was a lot of fun however we got very lost in the corn maze. We had a map and clues but it was still very hard to find our way around. Add in 2 kids who insisted on picking up corn and a little girl who slept in her stroller for almost the entire maze, and you can imagine how we were ready to get out of there.

UVA game
Camden went to his first UVA game on Saturday. He loved the tailgating part and walking around the stadium but got bored just watching the game. He would occassionally watch but mainly wanted to play with his toy or walk back and forth along our row (luckily we took up most of that row). I am so glad he got to go. I know there will come a time when he will want to go all the time but I'm glad it's not this year. I wouldn't know what to do without him for 7 Saturdays!!! I think he was a good luck charm because UVA won (by alot)!!!

Fun evening!
It's been soooo long since I've updated that I thought I better get something on here!
We had a fun evening tonight. Camden and I made blueberry muffins after dinner and they turned out so good! He loved them! He did most everything (including cracking the eggs), all I did was measure and stir a little bit.
After making muffins, I decided to measure Camden to see how much he has grown. We keep his growth on the inside of his closet door. The last time I measured him was in July. This boy is growing like a weed!!! Take a look to see how much he has grown!!!
Here is a quick picture of Fishie Wilson, Camden's pet we got him a couple weeks ago. Honestly, I'm so surprised he's still alive. I have never in my life had a fish live very long so I was a little nervous. He's doing good though and Camden loves him!!!
After bath time, we read a few more pages in his book. Camden is learning to read one of those Dick and Jane books that introduce easy words. He's mastered the first section (about 60 pages) and has now moved on the "hard" words. I'm so amazed by how smart he is!
