Fun day at the park!

We went to the park for a little while this afternoon. As soon as we got there, it started to sprinkle. We decided to stay and see what the weather was going to do -- luckily it cleared up soon. Camden took his bike and rode for a little while. This is his new bike that he got for his birthday in January and he hasn't had a chance to ride it outside yet. He was still learning the brakes so going downhill was a little tricky (thanks Carter for helping him)! Camden loved the rock wall and climbed that many times.

I was exhausted since we have been working on the baby's room all day. I was determined to rest while we were there, and I did. I'm glad the baby's room is making progress though, well at least the construction is done and the furniture is in. Now comes the fun part - decorating!!!

After the park, we came home and had dinner. After dinner, Camden and I made Banana Walnut muffins. Russell had a few friends over for some kind of draft and Camden shared the muffins with them. I don't think anyone ate them though when I told them they were Fiber One muffins. :)

Funny story to remember from today: Camden and I were relaxing and watching tv. I wanted to see the end of this show on HGTV before changing the channel to what Camden wanted to watch. Camden said: "Ok, Mom. You can watch your "girl show"'. Complete with the air quotes!!! It was hilarious!! I love my little funny boy!!!

It's been a while!

I haven't updated my blog in so long!! We've had a pretty busy winter and spring looks to be just as busy! I'm about 29 weeks pregnant so we're preparing the new arrival. Finally bought some furniture today so I'm feeling productive about that!! Camden learned how to be a great Big Brother today. The hospital offered a class that was very good for Camden's age group. Cam learned how to feed, change & hold a baby. He had a great time!!

After the class (and after we bought baby furniture), we went to an Easter Egg Hunt. A lot of Camden's friends were there and he had so much fun. He hunted easter eggs, did a spoon race, 3-legged race and caught a few toy ducks in the water. This was a fun event and I was glad we were able to go.

It's been a great weekend and I love the warm weather! I didn't realize how ready I was for spring until I put on my flip-flops!!! I hope it stays this way!!
